Hello. My name is Steven Kahan. I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1982 and served as a Naval Officer until 1987. My computer programming career began in 1988. In 2004 I started to fix personal computers as a hobby, primarily for friends and family. More recently I've done repairs and installations for customers in the evening and on weekends. Click here for actual customer feedback.
I specialize in giving older systems new life: scouring craigslist and sales flyers to find memory upgrades and other parts to keep your system functioning. I will advise you whether it is worth upgrading or better to replace your current system. Additionally, I can install both software and hardware in your existing system for prices considerably less than the "professionals". Wireless network installation is also available.

| I have recently partnered with Rhinotechie.com to provide more advanced repairs to computers. If you require board level repair (re-soldering a laptop power connector, for example), Rhinotechie can do that! Most laptop connector repairs are $125.00. Let me know your make and model and I can provide you with an exact quote. I can provide pickup and delivery service for no additional charge if you are within 15 miles of Providence, Johnston or Cranston. | |
